WCS is a full service hazardous and non-hazardous waste remediation and transportation contractor. We are on call 24-hours a day to assist our customers with a wide range of environmental needs. All of our Operations Personnel are fully trained in hazardous materials handling and transportation. Each employee possesses the following minimum requirements:

  1. 40-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) training in accordance with 29 CFR 1919.120;
  2. 8-Hour Hazardous Waste Operations Refresher training in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120;
  3. Confined Space Entry training in accordance with Title 8 CCR 5156, 5157, and 5158;
  4. First Responders Awareness training in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120, Title 8 CCR 5192;
  5. Forklift training in accordance with Title 8 CCR 3664(a)(1).

In addition, our Operations Personnel are enrolled in the Department of Motor Vehicles Employee Pull Notice (EPN) Program as well as a Department of Transportation (DOT) Approved Random Drug and Alcohol Testing Program. All Commercial drivers are licensed and examined according to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations 49 CFR 391.41-391.49.
